Broadcast Journalism Academy
Children Summer Camps >> Journalism Summer Camps
Each night at dinner campers will see themselves on TV, reporting the Pali News!
Reporters-in-training will learn how to write stories, read on camera, produce on location segments and work from an anchor desk using cue cards.
On the technical end, campers are taught camera operation, audio and lighting.
In addition to the glitz and glamour of being on TV, campers will learn about journalism ethics, interviewing techniques, the use of blue screens, in-studio camera moves and how to create the cool graphics seen on network news.
